I shall drag my pickled and over fed carcas as far as the van tommorow to do some work. Working from home has its advantages.

We hope everyone had a good time over xmas the photos from Carrog are testiment to the fact we did. If anyone has any pictures they wish to share of themselves asleep in the comfy chair lets see em :)

Hang on Polly,
Only 7 'slow' months to go;:(
and then the 'quick' years ahead ;)
Happy 'wild' future, :):)

Monday Blues Delayed

Monday is public holiday in Scotland so can put the Monday Blues off for another day!!

PS Nothing to do with the drinking culture up here......honest!

Looking forward to escaping for lots of weekend wilding this year -assuming the weather lets up eventually. All very beautiful to look at but a bit extreme for wilding at minus 13C

I'm SERIOUSLY thinking about retiring. I only work 3 days as it is, and thats from home, trouble is, not sure if we'll be able to afford to go away as much if I'm not earning
Decision, decisions:rolleyes:
Hubby has been retired 6 years now, and is waiting patiently for me to finish.
I doubt I will see it through the rest of this year.

Jackie ;)

I'll be back at work tommorrow starting with a row (meeting) about a funding cut, good old NHS.

I was going to post something but in the end just wish all you workers a happy new year :D we've just got to struggle through this cold spell until mid Feb then off to the sun for a couple of months :D

Our school was the only one in the area to stay open...... I struggled in, In the van on Tuesday...... a bit of a slalom course but the 3 mile journey took 45 minutes.
We had about 8 inches in the car park but I managed to Park it up.
Stayed overnight in my van after hooking up and getting it toasty, went to the local Indian for a superb Curry.... listened to the footy on five live enjoying a few whiskeys and retired to bed with a hot water bottle a good book, the oil filled rad providing the warmth.
Got up next moring already at work and as calm as bhudhist, It was -8 outside and I opened up early made some toast and a brew...and enjoyed with a big smile.
Came home last night though....... running low on Scotch.:eek:

Thanks Bill, The kids have been bringing sledges to school as we are at the foot of a hill and some of it is in our grounds..... been having hour long playtimes as only about 70% of kids and staff have been able to make it.... So I am not held in too bad a light.
