Ayr sea front

Does anyone know if you can still stay on the sea front in the car park at Ayr please?

I believe you can but the local youths and boy racers can be quite a nuisance.

Just back from my morning walk along the beach , 8 motorhomes parked up last night no problems .
Council are discussing paid parking in car park and along sea front hopefully it will only be during day .
Nice little dog friendly bar just up from beach Wellingtons ,foods good to and reasonably priced

Yes, you can. Was there last week, there is an old guy called John who parks there for months at a time, he has an old kontiki, every one knows him. But if you continue towards the harbour you might avoid the boy racers with the loud exhausts:scared:

It's been a couple of years since we were there we parked near the café and Indians restaurant, the toilets were there and just around the corner there was a small shop, at the time we stayed there we had no trouble with boy racers and there was always other motorhomes there. So that's good to know you can still park up we used to watch them bring the horses down onto the beach. Thanks for the replies
