We are changing our motorhome and have decided not to have a TV in the bedroom area anymore as we never used it. As such this TV has had little/no use since we bought it. It has loads of features (see photo) plus also has a built in DVD player.

It works on 230v and also 12v and comes with cables for both.

It comes with a free standing stand but also has mounting fixings on the rear, to go onto a wall bracket (not supplied)

Brand new these are £400. I'm looking for £200.

We are based in Evesham so pretty central and easy to collect. I can also arrange to meet up somewhere within say 20 miles, to do a handover. At a push it could be put on a courier but I'd let the buyer organise that. It is well packaged (with the original packaging).

They are nice TVs. I have the 249DRSPro, which is the same model, except for a bit bigger screen.
Something I found handy and worth mentioning is these TVs have a built-in Satellite Receiver, so if someone has a dish (fixed or portable), they don't need an extra box to get Freesat reception (y)

A great buy for someone, I would say

Good deal but I think most people use smart tellys these days.
In the house I have "Smart TVs" made by Samsung. The "Smart" bit has always been pretty useless and using a Firestick on them has been a lot better.

When I looked for a new TV for the MH, the type GMJ is selling was one option and the Avtex Smart TV was another. Go for the Smart TV model and you lose other useful features. Go for the non-Smart model like GMJ (and I have) and add a Firestick and you have everything including all a Smart TV offers.

To me, the choice was easy :)

Some tv die at 12v and like mine have to use a voltage buck converter<little blac box top left> to step up to 13.5v nomater what the vans battery is sitting at.
My tv cost £25 at a boot sale, mind you its never used. 😂

I also have the same TV, I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants a TV in their van (I even have one in my kitchen, and one in my shed) a firestick or similar is far better than buying a smart TV
I used to wonder what all the hype was about Avtex TV's until I was given an old 15" one that didn't have HDMI or HD and I was amazed at how clear the picture was, so I bought one from @Scotia and then another one from the forum that is supposed to be fun but is far from it.
If I had somewhere to put this I would be on my way to Evesham

Couldn't agree more Terry, I bought one from Richard and Helen and the picture quality is brilliant even at an angle.
