Avon skin so soft

And as we all know this is a very good midge repellant!!!!!!!!!!

What about Mozzies? I have heard that they don't like it either, Anyone used this successfully, I get eaten by mozzies, if this stuff is effective, I'll be buying a bucketload.

Capt Mainwaring uses it all the time. As he says = Puisque je le vaux.

Find its more like a dressing for them

Think it depends on the person, back from the Hebrides and had heard about Smidge as midges, mozzies n horseflys are all partial to chomping on me. Girlfriend decided we'd have garlic capsules n she'd get me stuff from Aldi's in Oban instead (she doesnt get bit), I smelled toxic n still got eaten! Feeling a tad guilty she relented n said i could buy Smidge but then she found a shop selling So Soft for £7 instead, I smelled nicer and did have softer feeling skin and the wee feckers took advantage o this big style! Finally got Smidge and life was so much better, however she decided to try it (why is beyond me cos she never gets bitten) and she got chewed to pieces that one night (justice! :)
Digressing slightly me and a mate went to Bala to collect a camper the other week, got out and n clouds o the wee feckers descended upon us! The guy was a sound young man possibly self medicating, very chatty n friendly but me n my mate were trying to stand and chat to him whilst slapping our heads, face, arms hands constantly like some comedy self flaggelation. After 5 minutes with bites on our eye lids, ears between our fingers, we admited defeat and ran for the cab, the guy then came across and genuinely asked if they were bothering us. To do this tho he opened the door to tell us how they are attracted to the carbon dioxide, tad more in the cab so you can guess the rest! Suffice to say 10 minutes spent killing beasties in the cab and the constant slap n itch for the 300mile journey home!

Camping out in Glen Brittle on Skye, we had a layer of toasted midges in the bottom of the coleman stove. Yummy.
