Avilla Northern Spain

sounds nice, we have never been across the water to distant lands in motor home, we did in a caravan many years ago, but need to do again. when all bans are lifted maybe we will do it again with advice.

Picos is one of our favourites. Stayed at an ACSI site called Picos de Europa near Cangos d’onis . Tried to drive through the Picos (7m A class) N625 to Rianos but turned back. Much worse than the Pyrenees!
Last year we stayed at the Aire in Llanes and rented a car locally and had a great couple of days touring right in the heart of the mountains.
Rented from this company using google translate. Seemed honest and trustworthy. Would do it again.

We stayed at one near potes which was a lovely drive south from the coast as it stuck to the valley floor, just be careful of the rock overhang outcrops!!!! Snow on the mountain peaks above the site even in late April and lovely walk to monastery up the hill with amazing views, or down into the town, that was very picturesque.
