Avatars? How?

I can't seem to be able to load an avatar on this forum, HELP!

Via your control panel, click on 'edit avatar' or 'edit profile pic' then browse to the pic on your PC or hosting site that you wish to use and upload it. It must be less than 100 x 75 pixels or the upload will fail.

Hi, I've tried all that, it won't uncheck the no avatar button.
