Autumn fast approaching, time to partake in wintry foods, Pie cooked in a remoska, chips fried in oil in a wok , peas in a pan and gravy mixed in a jug.

Food for the gods ( Charlie no doubt disagrees)

Bored the other day so had a go at meat and potato pie and cooked the peas separate, played about with the filling Worcestershire Sauce found its way in there and other things like mushroom be blown if I could cook it again

This time the pie was cooked in a Olpna ? 26 litre mini oven ,,,,and worked ...I want an Aga for Christmas !!

Time for yet another stoopid 'Oppy question, what on earth is a remoska????

Remoska is a type of oven that harks back to the days of communist Czechoslovakia, main benefit is it only uses 400 w of electric, no noticeable increase in cooking times, and is pretty much plug and play.

Lakeland Standard Remoska Electric Cooker 2L 400w

Original importers were Lakeland a lady called Milena Grenfell Baines, other options are available a little cheaper.

Owned mine close to 10 years and swear by it, it does somethings better in my opinion than the domestic oven at home , roast joints and Jacket potatoes.

Living alone and being a thrifty sort, I use mine at home often, saves money on the electrickery

Think you are a northern fella? used Hendersons Relish rather than Worcestershire Sauce?
