Has anybody got a "Headdress" decal for the NSR of my 02 Dakota?Cheers, Dave:)

Hi,

Not sure what the headdress decal looks like but modern signwriters can do wonders with computer graphic plastic decals these days and it should be cheaper!

Take the old one off using a hairdrier and puts some diluted Fairy Liquid on the body when applying the new decal, it will allow you to slip the decal into the correct position and then use a wet cloth to smooth out any air bubbles.

Once it has dried it will stick firmly.

I took a photo of the Laika emblem that was on the back of a M/home in Brownhills. From that photo, I got decals made up in various sizes and colours.

It was not really plagiarism as the shapes were Greyhounds in motion which I wanted as I have Whippets (near enough to Greyhounds). I put them on the cars and on the back of my last van.

You will need to measure up an existing emblem but there is no reason why you cannot do the same.

Thanks for replies, but it is "very 3D" so looks like I'll have to go to Autotrail!
Cheers, Dave

Hope you're successful Dave, but when we needed a door stripe for the hab door on a 2002 Cheyenne (after a slight argument with a low wall!) both the Aototrail dealer and the insurance assessor said Autotrail would probably not have stock of all decals. Certainly a signwriter did a fair job on our van.

Thanks for that, but I rang them today and they had one in stock , so problem solved.
Cheers, Dave:)
