Has anyone been to Austria and wildcamped? There are several roads deep in the mountains like the Silvaretta which are toll roads, the Silveretta does not have closed times. They may all be different regulation but many only collect tolls in the day and are closed at night. Does that mean the road is closed? Does that mean you cannot stay overnight? Is the toll a day pass or an entry fee pay once leave when you like?

Hi, we have been wildcamping in Austria for 30 years, usually on our way to, or from visiting family in Italy with no problems.

That is no problems from the Austrians, the family is different.
