Discovery Leisure are holding a clearance auction at Coppul branch on the 17th of January (sat), I have been told that the sale will include many motorhomes and caravans. All the latest models will be included and many will go at bargain prices

Do you know if there is a sales booklet or the name of the auctioneer?

I got one of the clubs mags the other day and the free discover leaflet mentioned the auction. I suggest that you contact discover direct or there website might have details.

Be carefully of the auctions i believe there are still flood damaged MH out there from two years a go, although there is supposed to be chassis numbers available:eek:

having just read the sales catalogue and i go to a lot of auctions this is the first time i have seen that you get a warranty. who is giving the warranty the auctioner or the firm who might not be around much longer beware

I dont think there is going to be any bargains of the century.

I think its a way of getting people through the door on the promice of it being cheap.

My mate is interested in a new van, and has been bartering with them on the phone today.

Well we went today, and nothing was cheap.

Starting prices were high, and most items had a reserve.

Did the trick for discover I guess, loads of people there and quite a few bidding.

Unfortunately most auctions end up like this the more people are there bidding this drives the prices higher, some bidders get carried away instead of sticking with what they are prepared to pay. Then you sometimes get bogus bidders to excede the reserve prices not many people get the bargains they intend to.Andy.
