Spent a couple of days down arundel although it is only 5 or 6 mile from me there is a motorhome parking area in the old dog walking field height barriers are only open between 8am and 6pm it is £10 to overnight + £5 for daytime parking - it is next to the river by village centre and castle - if you want a large field for the dogs or whatever probably a nice place to head for - only saw 2 vans using the field and i did think about paying for parking enabling awning out and bbq - well worth it if you have never been and safe

Yes a few some non movers it is down the road for me 6 miles and i did park along the road but the paying for parking is reasonable at £10 a night especially as a lot of people like the free parking if you can find it ( it is very popular ) but for 2 days and a night for £20 in current situation is not bad and you will get a large parking area probably to yourself

I didn’t even know there was a proper parking place and parked Along the road. Lovely spot with the trees.
Arundel castle well worth a full day as well. I didn’t rate Arundel town at all though

Arundel is very small and quiet but you can do the castle / swanborne lake / and walk or fish the riverbank west of bridge if you dont have a license depending what you want you can even walk to amberley along the riverbank

Arundel is a great little town if you go explore they have a fab looking cathedral and some gardens can’t remember the name obviously a castle and two great cafes we had breakfast at one and lunch at the other.

Me and Shane went round it last year but the town wasn’t My thing. I did want to do the cathedral but was a bit steep getting to it so left it
