Best wash your clothes in Ariel.
If you want to pick up a TV signal, try using an Aerial.
Seriously though, I use one of those Status things that looks like a flying saucer, with a signal booster. Works surprisingly well.

I bought a 'Wing' aerial, very similar to a status aerial and it came with a booster. works well in most areas

ANY aerial that is outside will ALWAYS work better than one placed inside a 'tin box'.
For omi try a Omnimax - the one that looks like coat hangers bent into W's works a lot better than the Status 'mushrooms' which are crap! I didn't think mine worked it was that bad, but on walking round our old caravan site near Poole 7 out of 8 caravans with these fitted had fitted a second 'house' type aerial.
The Status directional aerial is another kettle of fish... it's BRILLIANT! (But are very expensive) there is a cheaper copy but I don't know if they're any good.
Always use good quality low loss air spaced coax - it makes a difference and is only a few pence a metre more. Good luck!

I think I got it for £65 but I think the normal retail is about £75-£80, slightly less than a status but supposed to be slightly better reception. Not that I'd know though. Mind you, really easy to fit.hillwalker said:
