We attended our first 'club' meeting last weekend, it was the St Patricks day function for invited Brownhill customers.
Looking round the hall where all the people were gathered it became pretty obvious that the majority must have been aged 60 years of age and over. We could count on one hand the number of people under 50, and we are 45 and 55 yrs of age.

So the question is are we too early (twirly) to have a motorhome?

Most people can't afford a MH earlier on in life...

Apart from this forum, and one other similar, where many people are willing to self build, or buy any old 25 years vintage henhouse on wheels and turn back into a home :lol-053:

I'm 37 and hubby 47, I was 32 when we had our 1st van. (and hubby still hasn't driven a mile)

Pat and I were 54 when we had our first motorhome now we're 62 and on our 4th motorhome.:drive:

my bold

you have been that for the last 10 years Dave :lol-049:

Generation thing I believe, when I was growing up I don't remember ever seeing a motorhome. A few tatty caravans but nothing else.
Some youngster will be lucky enough for their parent to have a MH so they are used to it and in turn introduce their friends to it, perfect for festivals etc.
Which means the MH generation could possible get younger

*day dreams about parking up next to a MH full of nubile young girlies*

we are both well below bus pass age...have only met a few folks who are not retired...It may well be the cost of the damn things but you cant take it with you and why wait when you can be having motorhoming fun.
