Are diesel pumps running dry?

You could of bought a sheep.
A long time ago I made a lightweight enclosure and put our 3 Guinea Pigs in it. They lived in it through the Summer and I moved it every day. I never had to cut the grass for most of the good weather, apart from strimming round the edges. They are easier to keep than Sheep Trev. 😁

A roast leg of guinea pig is not going far.

Anyone noticed supermarket food prices are going up already,
Mr kippling 6 apple tart buns was 99p last year, now about £2.60 here, pack of 5 bunty bars £1.17, now £2.75, milk £1.00 now £1.97 ltr, N Ireland gets hit harder than anywhere in the UK.

Does the cross-border shopping not give you some respite, Trev?

I think Moeve is CEPSA as was, but who cares? As long as they have fuel at reasonable prices ... Our local Asda has run out of fuel and has just closed, without notice or explanation - hoping it will reopen when new supplies become available

Steve
Don't hunt out cheap fuel but think Plenoil is the go to place ?

What has happened to our wonderful North Sea oil and gas ?????
It was given away to US oil companies by that nice Mrs Thatcher.
It is expensive to extract, so we should have done the same as Norway, leaving most where it was until prices rose and then putting the proceeds in a sovereign wealth fund, but instead the tories gave it to their tax-dodging mates.

Exactly. Evidence of the best way for a government to handle it and the worst way they could do it ☹️

A similar wealth fund system could be put in place, but too many politicians have vested interests with various oil producers in UK O&G sector, which would affect their share dividends.
