any web designers on here

i have been qouted 200 quid for a web page and free hosting for 12 months
thats including them designing it with unlimited changes untill i think its right for what i do
now i have no idea about this sort of thing
so is there any thing i need to be aware of
like extra charges or anything like that
and what happens if i think its doing no good so i dont want it any more is there a charge for that
i really need help on this 1

this is what he sent me
The quote basically says your getting the logo design, webpage design and vehicle designs for £200.

The Vehicle Signage and Logo have unlimited changes.

The hosting you would get 12 months free then £3 a month thereafter.

The logo will be sent to you in various file types so you can use them on print (like tshirts, cups, pens etc) and for the web i.e. your webpage, signature on vvoc etc etc.

Im sure there will be something else I need to tell you but I cant think of any off the top of my head. I think thats everything

Hi sammclouis. Web design is no more difficult than writing a letter using MS Word. You should have on your computer Microsoft Frontpage. You can easily build a site with it and then upload it to a FREE Website provider:-

i have my own free site...millies site

i have my own free site...no problems doing that but i have no experience with web design from a third party with charges here there & everywhere...but yes hosting your own free one is self explanatory...cheers though sammx

Costs nothing to shut down.

Basically once you have a website designed (built) it costs you only the hosting fee which would be £3. When you have hosting you have a web address such as www.kmp.co.uk so your emai would be kirk@kmp.co.uk (its more professional than a hotmail address).

For £200 you will get,

Your vehicle signage designed.
Your business logo designed.
Your webpage designed.
Your domain name registered i.e. www.kmp.co.uk etc.

Im not sure how much you dont know so i'll explain anyway, web hosting (hosting) is where your webpage is stored, it is also the place where your business email goes through.
