I am trying to buy a 12 volt lead with this connector on the end which has a 5mm diameter and a single internal pin, the other end is a cigarette lighter type plug P1000488.jpg P1000487.jpg

I have just bought the wrong lead off ebay in error, too small. Also tried ringing Maplins in Crewe and Stoke but no answer, guessing they have closed down now?

Lead is for a Samsung tv.

Amazon do a lighter plug with multy seperate conecters.
 
Thanks guys, Harold, that is the seller I bought the wrong lead off and have just tried ringing him but no answer. I have looked at his listings and he has plenty of connectors of the right external diameter but the internal diameters are too small. The internal diameter I need is 3.5mm.
 
You could try a local tv repair shop, they should be able to make one up for you.
 
do you still have the original? you really need to know if centre pin needs to be live or negative and how many amps is needed, there are loads look the same the aren't

Thanks everybody, the guy I bought the lead from on ebay is sorting out an adapter for me, hopefully it will do the trick.
