I recently fitted a Victron Smart Solar 100/20 MPPT regulator. I have two lead/calcium batteries totalling about 220Ah and read that this type generally like a higher charge voltage so I currently have the unit set for "Gel 2" which gives 14.4v absorption and 13.8v float. But I'm wondering if other settings may better suit?
This screenshot is with our moho parked up for the 7 day duration and on EHU each evening powering our Zig X-70 charger. By day our 120w solar panel is doing a bit but we are very low power users by day or night, yet it has taken a week of this for the Smart solar to reach float!

There is nothing attached to the Load at all but some days it shows a consumption for some reason.
I gather that equilization shouldn't be used on sealed batteries.

I just noticed that the model is 100/20 48v and for a minute thought that I had bought the wrong one in error, but guess it is the newer model as on checking it does 12, 24 & 48v systems but the one that just does 12 & 24v is still available, are there any other differences?

I have the 75/15 smart controller and as Phil mentioned I’m sure you can use the user defined settings to adjust the voltages to what the battery manufacturer recommends.
Unfortunately my motorhome is at the dealers at present or I would check to confirm the voltages are adjustable.

Yes, they can be user defined. I'm not entirely sure who manufactured the batteries!

They can be user defined I believe - try clicking the settings cog wheel on the top right of your display.
