Has anyone had problems with factory fit tyre monitor sender units post 2015 vehicles , i read on another forum the replacement cost is almost £300 a set on top of a tyre change

I had problems with a 2016 Vauxhall, it went back to the dealer several times to try and sort it but they never did manage it.

I eventually went into menu > set up and turned the bloody thing off because it would randomly come up with over / under pressure when there was nothing wrong.

Our last Toyota would show a tire problem when it was cold but did not show which tyre was faulty. The local tire place checked the tires and all was as it should be. Went out when it got warmer. So we just ignored it. There was a post on the Burstner Forum about the sensors on the Fiat. If you corrected the tyre pressures from 80PSI then the display would show a tyre problem. Seems like the only thing you can do is turn them off.

Never had any problems with the OEM tyre monitors, all mine have been Vauxhall’s but they get changed every 3 years so may go after that
