Many of us used John Ruffles engineering skills to legally increase our payload on our motorhomes, he seemed to be more generous than SvTech by how much more weight allowance he could upgrade you too and was also cheaper, but unfortunately he is no longer with us.
I was on another forum and a member had recently increased his payload using a different company to SvTech, he was putting air assist suspension on his motorhome and when he enquired with SvTech he was told that they could only allow a maximum of 3850KG, unless he then changed his front springs and damper units.
He then contacted this other engineering company who worked out the calculations and said if he didn't change his front suspension that they could up his allowance to 4100KG, so given that a few of us want the maximum payload we are legally allowed, decided to use this alternative company to SvTech.

I don't know if any members have used this company.

If you have it would be nice if you could offer any reviews on here just incase other members are wishing to go through the process of increasing there payload allowance.
I cannot understand why there is such a difference in allowances, depending who you used to do the calculations, I presume they must all use a similar formula to work it out.
One of the things that is obvious to me that unless you also change your brakes that the heavier you become your emergency braking will take longer to bring you to a halt, something you should bear in mind.
