Hello,
Amble side, anyone know if the cu site near the car park is still,open, not replying to phone, thought I had read the council had deemed it illegal?

Don't think it is. Rugby Club allows rallies and someone on a different thread asked about staying...it's the rugby season now so I wouldn't expect it still to be available for camping.

I went to visit the said site today to see what was happening. All closed up with a letter saying it as due to the unreasonable actions of one: Mr Richard Leafe the Chief Exec of LDNPA and an invite by the Miller Field Motorhome Camping owner to express your feelings about the ..."ridiculous decision they have taken which will greatly affect motor-homers AND the local economy"know.

followed by the email and phone number of the said chief executive.

There where, however two motor-homes parked within the field and behind locked gates, so not quite sure if there is a look hole but would like to, it seems a great location
