We are thinking of popping there on the tram sometime in the next few days just for a bimble around and some lunch.

Lovely place. Walk along the marina to see the floating millions and then lunch at Gran capital.

Just checked on street view and now a different restaurant.

Nice place to chill, and lots of places for lunch, both along the beach front and in the old town. Pleasant walk along the coast to Albir, and beyond to the lighthouse if your up for a hike.

We have friends at Almafra who I think still venture regularly to Altea. Don't know if you can wild though. The place on the beach front was blocked off some years ago

We will be there early next month, this is one of our favourite places in Spain, Especially the old town

That's what we did about 2 years ago, as the others say, a nice place for a wander round and a bite to eat.
Don't think we'll get that far down this time, we're going Andorra, Zaragoza, Madrid, then down to Seville and possibly Gibratar and back up through Portugal.
