So, I got bored and started looking at alloy wheels for the van (having definitely decided on steel wheels mere days earlier).
Anyway, there are a fair number of big-ish wheel/tyre places selling wheels load rates for vans, that are not really rated for vans.
Probably half of the ones I looked at that were listed as suitable for a movano/master/interstar are actually only rated to 900-950kg when you dig around on the manufacturers websites / TUV certs. I know it's arguable, but I think many would end up with an axle over the 1.8t mark.
Anyway, just flagging it in case anyone else is thinking of, or has recently bought alloys - might just be worth checking the certs.
