As a France newbie, I was advised to get this book.

Top tip: 2 quid cheaper than Amazon(which incidentally is out of stock) and if you use promotion code ukmoto you get 75p off. Making it almost 3 quid cheaper All the Aires France 2nd Edition :: Aires & Stopovers :: Motorhome Guides :: Vicarious Books

I was advised to get France Passion, but not sure if I can cram it in in my 2.5 weeks or I will be going to France again this year? Maybe something for next time / 2011 as I plan to start my European MH touring alot earlier next year

So are they any other recommendation for must have books etc?

All the Aires is a good book and is worth the money.

If you have the competance and have a TomTom satnav then there ways of downloading the POIs from various websites

CAMPINGCAR-INFOS - my personal fave
&
camping-car : The best European guide to motorhome sanistations Pan European guide but can sometimes (not often) be out of date

Have a good time and please don't forget to give us all a write up with some pics when you get back :D

edit: spelling

Nice Aire

Stayed at a fantasic aire last year just 2km from Mnt St Michelle, if you're going there. Would have to say that one of the nicest aires you could ever visit, (and probably one of the nicest places too!!), is in La Roque Gagner, in Dordogne.
