Hi, having finally sorted our dates out I booked the return ferry tickets yesterday. Dover / Calais, out in April return June, six weeks later £88.
This exactly the same price I paid last September.
Reasonable times too, arrive in Calais early evening & back in Dover mid morning.

We are completing our tour of the Cathar fortresses in southern France, see Aires on a shoestring 3,
taking in the St Georges gorge just south of Axat & going as far as fort Mont Louis in the Pyrenees on Spanish border.

First night in France we stop on the free aire at Bergues, just off the motorway ready for an early start the following morning.

I pretty much have my aires sorted, buuut if anyone knows of nice one that I may not have used in the past please pass it on.

Hi Paul, I am not a Brit knocker, I happen to think that this County is great to live in & the views as good as anywhere.

I have travelled extensively over the past 54 years ( started at 14) & agree that Continental Europe is wonderful for motorhoming.

If you see a dark blue Murvi be sure to toot your horn & flash a V signal, just to stop me getting homesick.

Regards Dezi

 long time since I explored Cathar country and the Massif Central too went there several times. A friend (resident there) used to say the first red tiles seen and the first crickets heard. it was very quiet then and mh were rare i imagine it;s quite different now like everywhere else. ok have a great time and foff now :drive:

Are you still here ?

Go on...... clear off. :p:rolleyes:

As last year I shall return in June spiritually refreshed, full of bohomme for my fellow man & ready to continue my missionary work around Doncaster.

Anymore lip from you Mainwaring & I will extend this to Geordieland.

I take it you mean bonhomie, bohomme is Matabele for stewed Kudu.

You can refresh my spirits with a bottle of Spanish brandy, thanks in advance.

I will continue your good work with the rehabilitation of Old Arthur, even though I believe he is a lost cause. A course of regular beatings with a Baseball bat will be the first step. :hammer:

i hate you pair off nastards(even a cabbage has an heart)
