Rear Steadies

Hi

What size are these - I see there are 4 options in the brochure you linked to?

Thanks

Bev

Hi All,
I also have a pair of these steadies for sale if anyone is interested. I put them on here end of August, then went away and never thought about them again, but they are still in my garage. I was also asking £80 ONO for the pair, collection only..and we are near Coventry.
You will see my ad under 'For Sale' on this forum if you want to check back.
Cheers....Jackie

Yes they are still available.

Thanks. Being a novice in this as we only bought a MH in March not fully aware of the fitments.

Can you verify what vehicle they were removed from please. I have a 1998 Fiat Ducato chassis that has four holes on each main chassis leg that seem to be where a steady would be fitted. The only concerns I have are:
1. The holes in the chassis seem larger than those shown in the pictures (could be for easier alignment possibly).
2. What are the bronze coloured plates used for?

Also - We will probably pass Preston Late November/Early December, would this be convenient to visit?

Thank you
Stanley

Hi Jackie, Not wanting to create any friction between members, can I deal with the other seller first, and determine if they are suitable for me.

Can I also ask you what chassis the steadies you are selling came from.

I looked at your pictures and notice that the only difference I could detect is the length of the winding mechanism/post. I assume that they would have been used on a vehicle that had a wider body, or required a different winding handle.

Thank you
Stanley

Hi, No problem at all, I just thought I would refresh my ad while there was one 'live'..I'm not trying to poach you. LOL.
Mine are from our 2005 Alco chassis on our Burstner Delfin Performance 700..pictured on my Avatar. Of course the winding handle comes with them. I presumed that they were 'universal' fitting for Alco chassis..but I'm afraid I don't really understand these things, but they are here if anyone wants to look at them.
Hope you get fixed up, wherever you get them from,
regards, Jackie

steadies

Hi Graham
Sorry to bother you mate, I'm looking for some seadies for my Burstner 821i (2011) would you know by any remote chance if they would fit? I'd measure the vehicle up as in the pdf from AL-KO but its a bit hard from here in Iraq! and I'm not back to the UK till mid Jan for when I'm imediatly leaving for Baveria for a few weeks in the motorhome. Ive been on to AL-Ko but they dont seem to want to answer for some bizar reason! perhaps they are that much in profit they dont want to sell anything anymore :lol-053: much apreciated

Lofty

Yes it will be OK for then we aren`t planning on going anywhere till Boxing Day.

Dear Graham, Apologies, I had hoped to find opportunity to contact you about the steadies but other events took time away from me. At the moment I shall not be purchasing the steadies. Sorry.

Hi Graham
Sorry Ive taken time in replying to you, bit busy here in Sunny Iraq :) I will defo have the steadies off you! if they are still for sale? Is it possible if you can phone my wife Sue as It's a bit difficult from here as you can understand. My home phone is 01929405319 (Dorset) or 07769917174 she works from 6am till around 13:00and hopefully we can sort something out. I spoke to her about this so she wouldnt wonder what your talking about lol. Im not here to mess you about as I know what it's like to sell things and it's not always that straight forward :-(

Lofty
