my mate just referbed my alco axle with frazer browns torsion bar, (no connection) the bushes were fine, (regularly greased), drilled tapped and piped extra grease points into my gas locker, brilliant job, really chuffed, much easier than transporting the whole axle back and forth to Scotland. ...the help & info shared from Scotland first class I must add ......mot Thursday 1991 talbot express scout six, fingers crossed😇

A couple of years ago I sent my axle to Fraser Brown for a rebuild. It was quite a performance!

Since then I have been to see Fraser in person with my 'van. He's a lovely man and very helpful. I had remote greasing points installed which I gather you have also done. The reason I went there was because the greasing lines had blocked, as we discovered when he examined the installation.

The theory is that standard grease can go hard in the lines. I am now using a low viscosity grease from Castrol specifically intended for remote greasing usage. I can't recall the name at present but I can check it tomorrow if you'd like to know.
