Are the aires being restricted at the moment with social distancing measures - or is it still the look after no1 approach i.e if my van fits in i'm parking

We have just got back can't really remember any aire being too busy but are being self policed. I guess it depends where you go. I would not be put off

We spent several days driving through France last week. No problems at all BUT keep way from the sea and obvious tourist places, they are crowded.

Just meant some more popular aires vans pack in like sardines and was wondering if that is still the case on some aires

Given that you are allowed to park overnight anywhere that is not restricted, why limit yourself to aires?

Just use them for services ...
