Spot the French van . . .

Bur from the parking you sometimes see on busy aires, surely there would have been room for a little van parked across the front of his van? He'd not have been happy then...

Just returned from France with a barn find.
Took up more places on the aire's then that bloke, :lol-049:

Bumped into the same guy inSwitzerland near Geneva. We holed up by a lake in a car park for the night. Great spot. I think he told me he was a Londoner and on his way back home after being on the road for quite a spell. Real nice guy, wife, couple of kids and a lovely Labrador dog.

seems he's gained an axle :rolleyes2:

☺☺☺☺ i get your point. Sorry Donky Too. It is NOT the same guy. Boy, at a glanz, it looked the same. Anyway not bad. I think he said it was a 33 footer. I thought they were rare. Seems common as muck when you spot 2 in one day☺☺☺

When its free why take up 1 space when 3 is better !!! lol

That's the funny thing. The aire isn't a free one - it should be e10 a night, so all the other users were moaning about him saying he should be paying e30. He parked, read the sign (in 4 languages) asking users to park neatly etc, then pushed off in to town.

Mind you the payment question was a bit academic, the machine didn't recognise anyone's card so we all stayed free for the night: not that he tried to pay anyway:lol-049:

mind its alright putting it up here and saying others were moaning .but how many actually challenged him about it . that would be more interesting.
i use airres with my artic ,never had anybody say i shouldnt be there but see them mumbling . but not the french. only uk drivers .
have also used the grass verges on airres for tents when on m,bikes .the french have even said get closer to us and if you want to go into town tonight we can watch the tents for you. i find the french very helpfull and friendly on the road in france.
