We called here Thursday night 18th Jan,it was all shut up not a motorhome there,can anyone tell us if that is a seasonal thing are permanent.

That wouldn`t surprise me.

We`ve seen the 08.30am mass exodus :scared: with people still packing up as they drive out of the aire before the Police Municiple officer turns up to collect the money at 09.00am.

Not sure if this one is still open, but approaching from the south there is motorhome parking at Le Touquet Airport

If you must stay on an aire there’s a good one just to the south at Equihen Plage.

There are plenty of places around Boulogne where you can tuck in for the night.

We have stayed in the sea front car park by the Nausica centre, but then we can fit in a car space.

Shame we liked that aire and the frites across the road were good.

Hi if you want to be in the aire, go to the top of the hill, round the roundabout and then back down the road and then into the aire via the toll barrier, was passed there on Jan5th and it was empty then, only the odd car at the very bottom.
The barrier is only waist hight so it looks as if they are charging for cars as well as motorhomes.

Thanks for the update, quite pleased that the aire is still open, one of our favourites on the way back to calais. Don’t mind paying for a good aire.
