air blower kits

Does anyone know if there are any air blower kits available on the market? I am about to buy a beautiful van but it has no blow heating, only the gas fire. My last van was freezing cold at foot level so I sold that intending to buy something with blowers. Is there a adaption kit that would fit near the gas heater to recycle the hot air to floor level?

We have an eberspacher (sp?) In our duetto which is awesome it runs off the diesel and blows hot air at floor level but they are not quiet so better for wilding than sites I don't think they are noisy but I have had some moans on sites when we do an infrequent night on one. I now make sure I do laundry/elsan nights midweek and ask for a pitch away from others

what kind of gas fire?you may be able to do something with computer fans

In an old caravan that I used for an office I had the same problem, I used a computer fan through a pipe and made a grating under the seat to let warm air out. All made out of rectangular kitchen extractor with an adapter plate for the fan. I think it was about a 6" fan.

One end as high as possible to receive hot air, the other at a suitable location to direct at your feet. I hid all pipework inside cupboards/seats etc and it worked quite well, was going to try two fans in tandem but couldn't be bothered, also it would use twice the power.

or buy a propex heater for about£450,they're quite easy to fit if you have any diy skills

If it's a Truma they made/make an addon 12v fan and duct kit for their heaters.

I have just had one of these fan thingys connected to the back of my gas fire and now have the pipe and air vents and for it to be connected up to 12v and then I will have warm toes and a warm loo

bought the truma blower from national caravan breakers for £40

The Breakers are about a mile from me near Old Colwyn on the North Wales coast, they've got loads of stuff. Loads!!
