I have Aguti swivel seats in my Burstner, the drivers seat has started creaking to a point were it is both annoying and the seat rocks slightly. I have removed the seat to expose the centre nut. Initially I just tightened the centre nut but this seemed to make the rotation too stiff. I then removed the nyloc nut and the base plate to see if it required lubrication, this exposed a large plastic bearing ring which had a thin smear of old grease on it. My question is should there be a lubricant on the ring or should it be dry as I am assuming as it a plastic (probably nylon) ring it shouldn't need lubrication. Can anybody advise what should be the correct arrangement, also if there is an exploded diagram anywhere. Vehicle is 2008 Ford Transit.
Positive comments welcome.

Ah well looks like there aren't any seat experts about. What I did for those who might be interested was to remove all the grease from the plastic bearing plate and then gave it a light spray with silicon, I then replaced the rotating section and added a smear of grease to the m24 washer , replaced the m24 nyloc nut and tightened it so as to remove all the play. I then fixed the seat back in position, there is now no creaking virtually no rock and the seat rotates smoothly. Just hope that it stays like this for some time.

sorry

I didn't reply before as I didn't know if I have been doing right or wrong but every now and again I've been spraying a little silicon grease into mine just to keep them moving easily
