Robert

Robert was born in 1983. I've just hoovered him, funnily enough.

Whoops. Sorry crossed post.

I see what you mean.

Yay!

Anyone with anything older?

We have had our Herald Templar from new (August '95) and have visited shows over the years with a view to changing but when we get back to our van we change our minds again. She is automatic and hates hills but I love the layout and lots of kitchen workspace . Toilet compartment is a bit small but we are used to it now and do use the shower!! The cushions need changing now so that is on the agenda for this year.

Dream Shower

Dez:1992 Europa 650. Had it from new. Purchased it because of the Shower and Bathroom. They are seperate from each other. At the rear end, it measures 2.5 metres long and 80 cm deep. No splashing of water onto the sink or toilet seats. You clean only the shower area. My Misses is not as dumb as you think

Age

Our previous motorhome was a lovley 1988 Eriba car with the Reg Joy so she was always referred to as Joy, and we were very fond of her, but then on reaching retirment Joy could not quite manage the bits and pieces we needed for longer holidays abroad, so we looked around not knowing what to change her for, but eventually found a Hymer 584 that ticked all the boxes so Joy went on to another happy owner, but the only name I manage for the 584 is The Hymer (2000 Reg), although we did change the no plate to a C...Hym could not remember the long boring number on the plate, so with a bit of luck the Hymer will be taking us to Morocco, Spain, and France for the spring and summer whatever thier age make or size, we think they make for a great way of life, and meeting good likeminded folk.

Our Chausson 70 was new last August, this is our first new motorhome... in fact this is our first new - Car, caravan or boat! It's the only thing that doesn't drop like a stone just driving it home, so it helped sway us into buying new for the first time!
