We are heading South

Can you still park near the Aeroclub. We were down last year and had a few days there and on the Aire round the corner. Nice stop as you can watch them bailing out of the plane and racing it down

..
 
We were there earlier this year and there is a dedicated parking area for MHs on the main road backing on the fence adjacent to the runway. Parking under the trees near the beach is now prohibited, also the aire near the planetarium has been extended.
 
We were there for one night in March. There could not have been many spaces opened up during the day and both were full by evening. Vans parked in the street adjacent to the aire at the Planetarium and that seems to have been ok. We got into the parking by the aeródromome and facing the beach about 2pm and got in, just. The biggest problem there was that it is free and you got the feeling that many of the vans had been there a fair while. It may have settled a bit now with people going home for summer but I would get there sharp just in case.
