Advice on Space Heaters

I just wanted to get your views on electric space heaters to put in the van over the winter. Are there cheap ones about? Can you buy a froststat/thermostat combined?

Or maybe you have found a better/cheaper solution.

Any suggestions guys?

Plenty of thermostatically controlled ones on E Bay.

LOL! Many thanks for the tips, I'll pop over to Pontivy for some winter sun. Top up the tan at the same time.

We use a small oil-filled radiator set on the frost free setting too - it seems to work well. All tanks are drained etc. and we leave the EHU on to keep the batteries topped up. Our oil-filled radiator was very cheap - free - a cast-off from our daughter

I hadn't thought of putting the silver screens on the cab - good tip - but we do draw the insulating curtains between the cab and the living space.
