Adding my Fav Spots... How?...

How do I add my favourite spots without becoming a paid member? I tried to add to the 'Newhaven Ferry overnight stay' thread but keep getting the 'Hey there' message. I cant really afford to pay which is why I wild camp and have an old van. Just trying to help out.
