ADAC, Anyone on here speak German?.

Good morning all,
Just had a letter from ADAC, the content being "Wichtige Informationen fur Clubmitglieder".

I take it this means "Important information for Club Members", but not speaking a word of Krauten, I haven't a clue what the main text of the letter is on about.

It could be just a change in terms & conditions, but it could also be something that affects us.

Anyone else had this letter?, with any idea what it means?
 
type it into google translate - it wont come out in flowing English prose but you will get a very good idea of what its about

Phew, someone recently posted a letter they'd received from ADAC saying they were not renewing membership when his subscription expires. I've not heard of anyone else getting one though.
 
I am fluent in deutshlander speak and it basically says " I would like to fondle your buttocks " the main thrust though is " I like to fondle you ripple with a rasperberry and lychee ripple " I thin you are invited to a party in Munchen or Munich

My German is a bit rusty but sure it involves gas masks and rottweilers in leather just so you know

That’s OK then, don’t mind a bit of naughtiness!

For a moment I thought they were curtailing my membership.
 
Ok put all details into the form and it won’t work saying it doesn’t recognise my details ? All details match as far as I can see. Anyone else had a problem ? Could it be the password ?
May phone them once in Europe again !!!
 
A friend of mine has recommended that I join ADAC for breakdown cover, we have a new van that is covered by Fiat camper assist and my cars in the UK are covered by the free breakdown insurance I get with the nationwide Flex plus account, now the yorkshire man in me as to question if this is going to be off benefit to me or not. I would appreciate what the plus points would be to joining ADAC or would I just be duplicating what I already have. My plans are to head off to France and Spain, possibly Portugal for a few months at the beginning of January. thanks David

Unfortunately, ADAC are no longer accepting new memberships from UK. Existing members just carry on as normal by paying the fees at the due date.

I have a Spanish address I could use if it is worth joining.

Are you intending on going to Morocco? ADAC covers it where others generally don't.

I also had this problem, I know I put the correct details in but it still said it didn't recognise them

so reading between the lines we are all still covered by adac,but they will not be accepting new uk members ?

Correct. Existing members outside Germany retain their membership. Don't let it lapse!
