Accident report form

Reading a thread on another forum after someone had a accident in France they said they needed a accident report form and other forum members have said that they have always carried these forms ( This was news to me )
I have found a link to a site that has these forms for down loading in different languages and thought it might be of use to anyone going over the channel.

Most important if you ever have to fill one of these forms out please if it,s not filled out in English by the other party .and you can,t understand it make sure you put on the form that you dont understand what the other party has put on the form. Or you could be signing that you caused the accident :king::king:

hi *****. cant speak about yours but ihave half a dozen here all just dupicate. i got then straight from the printer. .but insurers do have them they just dont give hem out these days .unless you ask. i had one a few years ago and as i hadnt been issued one i rang the printers they sent me some.

Yes Alan mine are carbonated and all in triplicate, some from my insurance company and some from my trucking days.

I may well be wrong but I suspect that the forms have to be on the NCR type paper that you refer to. If it is / was 2 or 3 separate copies (non-carbon copies) then I wouldn't think that an Insurance company would touch them.

Good point about signing them that you do not speak the language - many thanks for that.

yes carbon copies. if you adjust them later they are deemed no good. they fill one half ,you fill the other .then both have a copy. they are agreed facts.
later you can fill in the reverse side about the driver of your vehicle and a few other bits .
ball point pen to be used .
be better if we used them here as well. every one ask next time you insure or speak to your insurer. at least then gives you chance to familurize yourself with the form.
