Toilets are being abused by M/Homers. FACT.

1) Blue Loo disposal down toilets into Septic Tank. Can't cope.

2) Filling water tank from taps. upstream UV filtration system from peaty water can't cope with demand.

Thats' why toilets were shut for a bit last year.

Well as a Litmus test at least the "who's awake" thread is proving popular in the same time frame.

Is it me ? Is it couldn't give a merd'ism ? Is it head in sand'ism ? Is it not about wild camping any more & just have a craic about anything but'ism ?

Sums up the Slatterdale problem in a nutshell. IMHO.

Sadly as ever some individuals just don't give a flying F about their impact on others....
Seen it before in the green laning world...
Where once a small number of folks trod lightly and respected the world they enjoyed...
The internet/facebook and a flood of folks the just didn't care pretty much sealed the fate of our unsurfaced byways of the UK....
Same is now happening with the Wild camping World

Is it displayed in these areas what you should and shouldn't be doing Mul?

There are lots of hire places now and folks will be listening to those who own the hire fleets rather than coming places like this and finding out. I am not trying to make excuses for folks as I know there are some who know and dont care (fly tippers around here really boil my pee) but I suspect a big proportion may be lack of education.

If it is then it needs those who control these facilities and the 'powers the be' getting together to come up with workable solutions rather than just saying Not Allowed as the people doing it will ignore that
