It appears that while I was away enjoying myself on my recent Continental jaunt, some of you little rascals have been having a falling out session.
Certainly Phils thread “New Administrator” has Resulting in a few acerbic comments that have surprised me. It would also appear that a few of the old contributors ( good word contributor, Phil ) have departed to other forums. Would anybody care to fill me in!!! Metaphorically speaking. On what has gone wrong, if anything.

The only people who have been banned from this forum are those who have abused this forum or me. Mostly plotting little plans to get banned. Other members have requested to have their accounts deleted.

I would also like to point out that I have "contributed" more to this site than anyone else over the last seven years, financially, mentally and with my thousands and thousands of hours of my time.

This site will return to normal soon, the naughty children will find someone else to bully when they realise that they cannot play their games here.

Cassandra WILL be the cure to this sites problems, it is what she does, and she does it very very well!

But it really is rather a pity tho, to lose so many-well some-of the people whose views did used to make this what it is..de bestest site! Definitely.
I never really joined for locations (tho' I surely apreciate their value) and I deplore the thieves -yes thieves-indeed-filthy, despicable thieves- who steal the information! Hang 'em, I say! Perhaps this is a bit severe -eh? OK:scourge 'em. Severely
But as i was saying ( twick, twick, lash lash,) it is a shame wome of the best posters are departed and wuth them,some great witty banter as well as some fascinating views, information and all.
It would be nice if they came back -I presume there is no plan to charge those of us (free members) who just enjoy social side and swopping chat, anecdotes,banter and what have you...
I very rarely wild camp in England: (don't use sites paricularly cc and ccc again because of their attitudes and continous attempts to take over everything...they so not speak with my voice; they are NOT my voice, do not speak nor represent me or my views in any way. I say they should stop pretending that they represent anybody but themselves and their own stuck in the mud dinausauroic attitudes!
They should get on with their nice tidy hedged expensive camp site let's pretend style of camping, with all those household mod-con appliances they can't live without! I deplore their archaic attitudes and prejudice towards any sleepers not conforming to out of date prejudices and
greed!
OK rant over.
But honestly, I don't see why all those nice folk cannot come back... they surely know that there's lots more than sites on dis site!
Anyway-where have all the jokers gone: long time....etc etc.: and more:eek!

Hi, Great trip, thanks. Six Countries, 2,000 miles, One demented police officer in Colmar & a near miss collision with an escaped camel. My word we do see life.
