About to hit the Normandy beaches.

Spent last night in a forest, drove West this morning and pulled into McDonalds, just about to go shopping, then head along the beaches and find an Aire for tonight. The weather here isn't much better than at home, but slightly warmer. There are aires at St. Maire Eglise and St. Hilaire Harquet which I fancy trying.

Bushtrekker & Moggy,
If you are going to St Marie Eglise you may like a trip up to the top of the peninsular (not very far). I posted a pic of the view from top of the lighthouse, and you can camp o/n in the areas next to it.
It is called the 'Phare de Gatteville (nice restaurant in Gatteville or was it Barfleur?), and stands on the 'Pointe de Barfleur' - virtually due north from St Marie E.
