A little about ourselves???

Hi everyone

We all get a bit carried away with talking about our MH, CV,Vans, wilding and spots (DOH!!! obviously rach82 - it's a wild camping for MH website:confused::confused::confused:?!!!)

But.....

How about a thread to really introduce ourselves on a more personel note???

So I better start....

I am Rach (28), and I live with my partner Mick (40) and our baby, our Macy Dog (Black Lab age 7)
We love each other, we love our dog, we love where we live (Sabden) we love wilding (which we are new to) and generally love life although times are hard (other half starting his own business!)
I am a supply chain planner, my other half is a website designer (and in a rock/pop band) and we 'get by ok'

Would love to hear more about everybody else?:)

Unfortunatley John, my musical talent on a scale of 1 - 10 is minus100000000!:eek::eek::eek:

So no, I am not in the band, check the website out and have a listen.

They mainly do weddings (better money!) but get the odd birthday, anniversary etc and also the odd pub gig

I like the idea of being a rock chick though:cool::D

A bit shy everyone???

Well it seems everybody is a bit shy when it comes to talking about themselves:confused::confused::confused:

So a little more about me....

As I said I work as a supply chain planner, this is in a factory that makes traditional handmade puddings and we supply all the major supermarkets, we have our own brand (Farmhouse Fare) and also make the supermarkets top end own label puddings. A very yummy place to work:D

I also have a horse on full loan.

Also thinking about starting my own cleaning business, on top of my current job at the moment, and then see how it goes...

Oh by the way, I am 27 not 28 (doh!)

I'm Alf you already know that I'm retired was Tecnical Services Manager for a 24/7 emergency sevice provider to all the major insurace company's and nationa house builders for the north of England ( 4 mobile phone job )
my wife is called Norma we have been motorcaravanning since 1969 never been out of Great Britan.Thats enogh for now Rachel..

PS never been to Pendel Hill but its on the list. :)

Hello there.

Sorry dear but you cannot be much of a planner. You have a Black Lab. You need a lot of expensive kit and an expensive Shotgun for the sport. Also very time consuming.

Now I have 4 Whippets. I need not even get out of the car and all I need is a few plastic carrier bags to carry the Rabbits home in.

Now thats planning!
 
Ok, I`m Mike :) Married 26 years, 3 kids, 2 grown up, 2 still at home, youngest is 8. I`m in a band too, I play sax (badly haha :D) Enjoy mechanical and electrical stuff and will turn my hand to anything just for the hell of learning. I`ve restored cars, a motorbike (full bike licence since I was 18 which is 20+ years ago!) and 30+ Raleigh Chopper bikes including one for the original designer.

I`m new to camping in a van but had caravans and tents for many years. Built my own campervan which is meant to be a long term project as I always seem to lose patience toward the end and sell up for the next one.

Thats it. Oh I`m a nice, friendly type so please say hello if you see me :)

Sorry for being flippant in my earlier reply. I will let you know something about me.

As you can see from my avatar, my name is Blofeld and my ultimate aim is world domination. It would have happened already but I have had a bad back and an ingrowing toenail.

I plan to nuke all parking areas with height barriers and blow up all NOP signs.

Im Stirling (54) and my wife is Jane (51)- 5 kids altogether though only 2 at home now. We're not too far from you in Ramsbottom. Might be able to get you a gig for the band so keep in touch.
Not too good on computers but will try to pm you regarding gig prospects

Hiya Rach and All, I'm Sue and I live with Him wot does testnical aka Michael aka Grand Wanderer and our gentle giant 7half st rotty Mia. I'm a retired madwife.. took early retirement a couple of yrs ago but still do the odd shift to keep my hand in.. not literally of course ouch!! ha ha. HWDT is retired barber but has been nobbled to do the odd haircut when he was spotted cutting my hair when we've been on aires in France. We love live music and rock n roll .. it would be great to hear your partners band some time.
BTW I have a friend who lives in Sabden and we've spent a night parked up at the top of the hill..Fabulous view.
