A few nights Northampton area

I have noted these from POI Map.
By and large Lay-byes do not suit us as we would aim to stop 2 nights and the day between

CU Aynho Wharf (Oxfordshire) NO N/a anymore

CR Stoke Bruerne (Northamptonshire)

CR Red Lion Truck Stop (A4500) (Northamptonshire)

CR Long Buckby (A5) (Northamptonshire)

CR Clattercote Reservoir (Oxfordshire)

CR Maidwell (Northamptonshire)

CR Wansford (Peterborough)

CR Orton Water

Both positive and negative comments welcome..
Any other spots ?
PS camp-sites under a tenner are fine (No EHU needed)

Aynho Wharf is no longer an option sadly. New owners of the land no longer welcome motorhomes. It will be removed from the next POI release.

I've stayed a few times at CR Maidwell, a bit closer to Kettering than Northampton, it's a small car park on an old railway used as a cyclway. There have been a couple of new age travellers vans when we've been but not for the last few times. Just the inevitable dog walkers.
