6kg gas bottle wanted

Hi all , looking for a 6kg propane bottle ,would like the regulator too if possible , i'm in Halesowen west mids ,i have bigger and smaller bottles but 6kg is the only size i am going to be able to get into my citroen romahome ,under the bed,for those of you that don't know they were built to carry the 906 bottles, very exspensive so i am changing over ,i can swop for 13kg or the great big bottle or pay cash if your not too far away , call 07743508320 or send me a P.M , cheers Shawbags ( CHRIS ).

Hi Shawbags,

Calor swap different sizes at their main places. Failing that, try your local council tip. Have a fiver in your hand and don't make a big deal of it. They are not meant to sell them but will often if asked nicely.

I think i might have a 6kg bottle its butane though, if its any good to you you can have it

Go to one of the main Calor depots. They will swop any Calor Bottle for any size you want. You have 2 near you.

No you can only use the 907 which is what the gas locker is designed for. Bottles SHOULD NOT be used laying down
 
Thanks for all your replys , i'm waiting for alf to get back to me on why they are dangerouse lying down ,if thats the case i need a re think , i think i may be able to get a 6kg under the sink standing up , i will check later ,cheers Shawbags ( Chris).

Dangerous due to good chance of liquid propane reaching burner - bad news.

Chris have a read here but Never use or store a gas bottle on its side
