Last minute £80 return P&O Crossing from Dover -> Calais. Turned left into Belgium for a couple of nights. I know the new POI's system should (?) take Belgium but I'll offer them up in "updates" later anyway.
400 miles each way from Cumbria and a total of 150 miles as far as Bruges and Back. Top weather too. 2 French updates/confirmations to come as well.

We didn't buy any flexible type of ticket but managed to change Ferries (arrived early on both occasions) without charge, thanks P&O.

This is our first but not last foray in to Belgium and whilst we have a get-by / moderate amount of French (When in France !) we were amazed how pleased the local were to speak English. In general much more friendly. "Have a nice day" (quite American, I know) but a refreshing change to the curt French supermarket / restaurant experience. Do you speak English ... Of course & with a smile.

Anyway ...
2 Beers

& then 12 Beers ...

Plus if you've got this far we're going to Buy the 2017 CamperStop so the one we got on here for free is being offered up for doing the rounds again (If no-one shouts I'll put it in For Sale). Bit cloth eared but still useful to someone hopefully ? Shout on here & then please PM me. I won't post it until ours turns up, might be a week or two.

We're very much looking forward to Holland in August.

Them beers look good when we was in France it cost me €3.50 for a 25cl bottle of pelforth but only €4.00 for panini and chips

30E for 12 beers , ranging from 4% upto 8-9% and onto 12%. List of tasting notes was good to browse thro' while sampling.

We also had a shower on the Ferry. Thanks P&O. Usually reserved exclusively for Truckers but we came out the van prepared with towels and shampoo, asked politely and had a quick re-fresh for free on board as well. Free Showers usually only available on longer Brittany ferry routes out of Portsmouth.

If you don't ask ... :)

Hi

If the book is still available I would be very grateful - we are heading over for a month on our maiden voyage in our MH in a few weeks.

Sure it would come in handy along with the Wildcamping POIs.

Jaycee001 It's yours 🖒

It got handed to me free so time pass it on.... well worn but doesn't stop it being useful.

PM your postage details. Like I said be a week or so until our new un lands.
