People here just dump them, even the 6kg ones are hard to get 11kg is the most stocked ones i see.Have 2 empty small discontinued bottles. Finding it really hard to work out what to do with them I feel like I need to get the 7kg one now, bug can u give the 2 small ones back.

Folk here would not wast time or fuel taking back so hedges and other places are full of them, i could put my hand on a few right now.take old bottles to calor gas ,they pay 7 quid each
Here that has to be at the Calor Depot our local supplier and others don't offer thatLook on the Calor web site.
You can either get cash for them (no paperwork required) or exchange them for a different size.
All Calor dealers should be able to deal with the bottles.
May not be much help, but a very clever artistic welder in somerset makes all sorts of comic creations with old gas bottles and the like.
