Now sold camper van so this is no longer needed - only about 6 months old.....

Has a built on frame that just clamps to a roof rack also have the wiring to go down to the control box

A 30 watt panel is physically incapable of producing 10 amps. It may be that it has a 10 amp regulator (rated capacity) but a panel that size is nearer 2 amps absolute max.

yeah the control box is 10amp - im only going on what im being told

Put it this way it charged our 2 batteries on the van no problem at all and we used them for a week when we went wildcamping with TV on for a good few hours per night and the next day it topped them all back up
