250L baffled water tank

only used for a few months few scuffs on the out side due to being in van like new inside
only ever had water inside
filler point fitted on lid for easy filling
im in essex (ss13)

250 litre = 55gls = 550lbs = 5cwt = 1/4 ton of water on board ??
 
yeah and your point is i used it for when i was window cleaning :confused:
 
sorry i though you had put the wrong size ? with you posting on a m/home forum with out explaining what you had used it for people would think they could use it on their self builds thats my point
 
oh i see sorry should of said would last a very long time in a MH lol
 
250l = 250 kg = 0.25 tonne

Could be used in a self build but I guess you would need a larger chassis with plenty of payload like 4.5 MGVW if you didn't want to compromise the other fittings.
 
hi, ideal in a truck conversion. lots do carry that much . many carry more . specially if really going down through africa etc.
bit like fuel tanks many are capable of 1500 litres of fuel.
think many women use the shower that long they think every one carries that much water . hee hee.
 
my vw could manage 500litre .the mitzy is 300 at the moment have another 200 litre to replace the 100 . i can actually make it back from maroc with out buying fuel ,. but would be daft not to fill up just before the ferry . i normally fill up near ribadesella in a super market ,good price. usually.
very often carry 200litres of water. never know sometimes where the next is coming from.
