Hi, we have just joined this group and are having a good read, seems there is lots of good advice and contacts. We have just bought our first Motorhome in many years, used to have a VW and a Commer Highwayman in the 70's so its like starting from scratch. We have bought a 1988 600/4 Fiat Ducato 1.3 CAB, 2.5 Diesel, its quite solid and has done a genuine 28,000 miles, been stored on and off for many years. I need a number of parts replaced i.e. door lock/catches, window blind catches, roof vents, taps etc, can anyone tell us if these parts are easy to get, new or secondhand and any places we could try, we are on the south coast, Eastbourne.

Thanks
Bernie

Thanks Dave,
two good sites, I had forgotton how expensive parts were for motorhomes, bit confused on what bits would fit my kon tiki, I have emailed them for advice. I am on information overload at the moment, with the essential repairs and so many different bits to get before we hit the road, heater, inverter, sat nav, TV, mobile broadband and all the comforts of home, all good fun.

Cheers

Bernie
