Sounds good value, but if you need to power a tv or laptop I would think you would need a Pure Sine Wave Inverter, which I am pretty sure this isn't.

Hi OH,

It's the Modified Sine Wave in the spec that is the problem, this may mean not a very good picture on some TV's. (fine for most things though).

I've had a 150w Inverter for five years now.....Great for charging the phone and running my old notebook (input 15v) present laptop will run from it if I have the engine running (input 19v).

I have a 150watt modified sine wave with, usb charging port under £9 ebay and our freeview tv with dvd player works fine.

Apparently some TV's work fine with Mod Sine, some don't. Strangely enough though it's usually the combi units that don't.
