12v Freeview

Well after all the searching and help we bought a 12v LCD TV + DVD, that's running fine despite the scare mongers saying you can't run it straight off the battery... well you can so long as you DON'T start the engine whilst watching TV and give it 14.2v!!!

Anyway whilst in Asda Poole we came across a very small and light Freeview box made by Durabrand it will lay flat or stand up on edge with the clip on base to save room... and it runs on 12v via a plug in adapter, and it only draws 500ma!!

It self searches and organises the channels from a 'cold' switch on plus radio stations as well.

So now we have 20+ channels of crap rather than 4!! But at least we have a better choice of crap!!!
